The playoff-bound Manvel Lady Mavericks secured the third seed in the 24-5A standings with a 5-3 home victory over Foster on April 15 and a 17-2 rout of Fort Bend Marshall April 16 in Missouri City.

Riley Bennett belted a two-run double in the third to key the win over Foster, while Addison Greak went the distance in the circle to pick up the pitching win.

Manvel then blew out Hightower by a 16-1 at home on Thursday to close the regular season. Bri Scott and Brittany Hood drove in three runs apiece, while Bennett produced three hits at the plate, as well.
