The Manvel Lady Mavericks captured five of their eight matches at the John Turner Adidas Classic in Pearland last weekend.

Manvel (6-3) dropped their opening two matches to San Antonio Reagan (23-25, 12- 25) and Highland Park (15- 25, 13-25), while posting wins over Clear Lake (25-20, 25- 20), Nederland (25-14, 25-15), Glenn (25-14, 25-21) and Trinity Christian Academy (25-19, 25-20).
